"One day you’ll feel eighteen, look sixty, and wonder what happened."
Powerful & creative imagery
the food and education made me sad.
I have always been fascinated by these ‘world of 100 people’ things, I remember spending hours thinking through the ones on a poster at church when I was 9 or so. It really, really makes some really important stuff so blindingly clear, in numbers we can understand. And it should, I hope it does, inspire us to act.
Anonymous asked: hi :) is it really hard to get accepted into the university of scranton? because i would love to go there but im terrified i wont get in :(
I’m sorry but I can’t really say if it’s hard or not. I’m not sure what other schools you’re looking at and what you think is hard. Try going to college board and look at the average SAT/ACT scores and whatnot for the school and compare them to your own. That website was basically like my bible applying to colleges haha.
But if it helps, I applied to Quinippiac, Misericordia, Springfield, and Ithaca and got into all of them. I’d say it’s closest to being on par with Quinippiac in terms of difficulty getting in. Quinippiac might actually be a little bit harder.
And I say apply anyway! (it was literally the only one that was free…) And if you get in, cool then you can come and be in the greatest school ever. If not, everyone ends up in the right school. Even if it’s not your first choice originally. Honestly, don’t stress about the application part of senior year.Just enjoy being in high school/home because it went way too fast in my opinion. Oh and if you have any other Scranton/college questions my ask is open :) Good luck!
FINALLY home for Thanksgiving!!!!
I got to see my best guy friend and he drove me to see my best friend who’s basically my sister and we got to hang out a while.
And I just got to see my brother for the first time since we both moved in.
It’s a good day.
